CenterTelecom Broadband Internet Subscribers Grew to 300,000 in 2007 [10.01.08]

CenterTelecom's number of broadband Internet users reached 300,000 in 2007, reported Prime TASS.  CenterTelecom is the largest fixed operator in Central Russia. 

It provides fixed communication services to 6.6 million subscribers,  while 300,000 subscribers use its broadband Internet. The company estimates that by the end of 2008 its subscriber base will reach 750,000. 

CenterTelecom began providing its ADSL-based broadband Internet services under "Domolink" brand in 6 Central Russian Regions in April 2006.  In 2007 it added 9 more regions.  In the future CenterTelecom will expand the range of its services to provide IPTV, network games, voice on demand and others, said Prime TASS.
